Your Appointment

What to expect:

Your appointment for a Workers’ Compensation examination is important to you. You should arrive well rested and ready to see your physician.

A Workers‘ Comp examination is much like a visit to your regular doctor. Depending on your injury and the type of specialist you are seeing, you may be sent for an X-ray or have other tests performed when you arrive. Please be prompt and bring the completed forms that were mailed to you when your appointment was made. The examination can take anywhere from 40 minutes to a few hours, depending on other tests your physician may request.

Dress comfortably. For some examinations, you may be asked to disrobe and put on a hospital gown.

If you are seeing a psychiatrist or psychologist, you may be asked to take standardized tests. These can take two hours to complete.

What happens next? Following your appointment, your examining physician will review your medical records and send a report to your attorney giving his or her best judgment.

Warbritton & Associates does not treat your condition or dispense medications. Our only job is to provide a quality medical-legal examination that you can depend on.
